The Challenge:
Developing a machine system that can perform low-cost, real-time vibration monitoring of motors and encoders commonly used by the paper industry.
The Solution:
Building a system based on NI LabVIEW software, an NI USB-9234 data acquisition module, an NI USB-5132 digitizer, and a general-purpose shear accelerometer that can monitor the duty cycle, frequency, and phase difference of motor vibrations.
